About Professional EMS Education

Professional EMS Education was established in 2006 by Fidel Garcia. Fidel has been involved with EMS for more than 29 years. He has worked for hospital based; private and volunteer ambulance agencies. His experience also includes nine years as a flight medic and developing an EMS program at a vocational technical center. For over twenty five years he has taught EMS education, locally as well as presenting at regional and national EMS conferences. David A. Gilmore, Jr., M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Gilmore is the Director of Toxicology, CPMG Emergency Department physician for St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He represents American Heart Association as an oversight editor, publications Emergency Cardiovascular Care Programs. He's a Clinical Associate Professor in Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine Division of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
